Dr. Roshini Moodley Naidoo – President

roshini-naidooRoshini Moodley Naidoo is a senior manager at Discovery Health where she is responsible for the risk and quality management of the Professional portfolio. Roshini was selected into Discovery’s inaugural CEO programme, and represents the company on the Board of Directors of Heath Quality Assurance, an industry initiative committed to improving the quality of healthcare in South Africa.

In the United States, Roshini managed public-private partnerships for the leading development and humanitarian aid organization, Oxfam. A multi-year poverty impact assessment led by Roshini for Oxfam America across three continents, in collaboration with Coca-Cola and SABMiller, received recognition by the UN Global Compact and the World Economic Forum.

Roshini’s managerial experience within financial services involves her tenure at First National Bank where she implemented the bank’s triple bottom line strategy. Her clinical experience in South Africa and the United Kingdom is complemented by operational roles within healthcare at Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts and Harvard University Health Care.

Roshini has received the following honours: Fellow of the Emerging Leaders Program led by the University of Cape Town and Duke University, Harvard South Africa Fellow, Harvard Business School Leadership Fellow, Golden Key award University of the Witwatersrand chapter.

Roshini is a medical doctor. She earned a Master in Public Health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health and a Master in Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School where she graduated with honours in her second year.

Vuyokazi Mnikathi – Director

vuyokazi-mnikathiVuyokazi Mnikathi is a Manager at Discovery where she is responsible for risk management pertaining to the multi-billion rand Hospital portfolio. She has held various positions at Discovery during her nine year tenure spanning service operations, information technology and funding.

Vuyokazi’s area of focus involves quality improvement in healthcare. She represents Discovery Health in Best Care Always, a best of class multi-stakeholder forum driving innovative change in quality at national and global levels. Vuyokazi is passionate about giving back and actively supports various CSI projects.

Vuyokazi is an IT specialist and is currently completing her Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Risk Management.

Judy Barrow – Director

judy-barrowJudy is a Brand Manager at Discovery and is responsible for communication to all healthcare professionals. She assists in creating brand and communication solutions that enable her business partners to meet their objectives while unpacking complex business needs and provide creative solutions considering all stakeholders but focusing on health professionals.

Judy has a higher diploma in Integrated Marketing Communications with a specialisation in brand management. She has also had over 15 years experience of marketing within the financial services industry.


The WOLH management team is guided by a dynamic and esteemed Board of Advisors, who champion and influence issues important to WOLH members.
